Where do lost refunds come from?

How do you collect your own refund?

First you need to find out the account number of the refund. Then you need to know the refund payable date. Then you need the last known address listed on the government records. Once you find this information. Then you need to find the phone number of the government office which handles your refund. Then just call give your name and account number. Then the person on the phone will ask you for your current address. Then the refund government office will mail you a set of instructions and forms. Follow the instructions and mail the forms back to the address given you in the forms. Now all you have to do is wait up to 90 days for payment.
